To Provide Quality education at very low cost for the rural children.

Major objectives

• To provide value based education at nominal cost at the Rural level as there is a lack of good education institution in the rural areas.

Activities undertaken

• Curriculum of the Haryana Board being implemented.
• Classes uptil 8th Standard started.
• Expansion for providing Scientific Laboratory for SeniorClasses being implemented.
• More than 350 students enrolled.

2. Computer Education Programme

Details

Shakti Vahini started its computer education classes in its National Headquarters in August 2001

Objectives

• To generate computer literacy among the masses at nominal cost of Rs 3001 per month.
• To provide free computer education to poor children.
• To provide free education to students from SCIST and other backward classes.
• To undertake projects on spreading the use of Internet among the Rural Population.

Activities undertaken

• Till December 2003 approximately 564 students have availed the services of the Centre.
• All types of Software programmes are being taught.
• Awareness programme on The usage of Internet undertaken in the Rural areas of Faridabad.
• Workshops held in Govt Schools on Information Technology.
• Presently a Project being undertaken to provide help to farmers with the help of Information Technology.
